Posted October 25, 201212 yr Hi all, Im looking for some advise, ive recently bought a 2003 Xt600e, the bike is great, however, i would feel a little more comfortable if the bike was a little lower. Does anyone know of anyway of lowering the bike apart from looking for boots with bigger soles. Many thanks, Mark.
October 25, 201212 yr Hi mark, if its a pro-link rear suspension, you can put on a shorter link, get a bespoke ingineer to make one, The front forks can be dropped thru the clamps an inch . this sharpens the steering,
October 26, 201212 yr Hi there. I had the same problem on my GSX1400 but found a local car upholsterer who cut a full two inches out of the seat foam then made a new cover for it-and only charged £55 for the job
