firsttimebiker Posted October 21, 2012 Posted October 21, 2012 Hi guys, I have snapped the indicator off my YBR125 and need to repair it. The indicator is working fine, just the mudguard holding it on is snapped. I've brought a replacement just don't know how to fix it. It looks like theres maybe three bolts holding the rear fender/ mudguard on but they are in a difficult position to reach and they've slightly rusted. Is it possible to replace the mudguard and rewire the indicators myself or am I best taking it to a garage?
Moderator Airhead Posted October 21, 2012 Moderator Posted October 21, 2012 As always the difficulty bwill be the lack of skill / experience or proper tools to undo the difficult bolts! Post pictures of the problem and tell us what you see the difficulty will be You want help, then post a proper intro in the noobs forum. It's good manners after all
paul-666 Posted October 21, 2012 Posted October 21, 2012 how have you snapped it ?of as when I knocked mine off it just cliped back in (which I was glad of ) as stated allready have you got a pic of the break
Grover Posted October 21, 2012 Posted October 21, 2012 ive knocked a YBR's indicator off by accident, but by the time i noticed. my dad had shoved it back in its socket, piece of cake. it seems they're designed to come off rather than break... so nice work breaking one by accident
