bencowell09 Posted October 17, 2012 Share Posted October 17, 2012 Hi all I recently purchased a pre diversion XJ600 that had been sitting in a garage for a while and it doesnt want to start. I've checked the electrics and I'm pretty sure that the ignitor unit needs replacing. I've been calling breakers yards and checking online but cant seem to find a replacement one. bencowell09 Posted October 18, 2012 Author Share Posted October 18, 2012 Thanks for the advice gents. The battery is fine but I'm not getting a spark. I did check the circuits with a multimeter and it does point to the ignitor unit. The fuses seemed fine but maybe it would be worth stripping and cleaning.
