chorley20 Posted June 22, 2005 Posted June 22, 2005 I keep getting clutch slip on my Thunderace, I changed the friction plates and fitted stronger heavy duty springs. I done a complete oil change with filter and replaced the clutch hydraulic fluid, it seems to do it more twos up and when the oil is hot. Even drained the oil and changed oil brand
Chasman231 Posted October 28, 2005 Posted October 28, 2005 I keep getting clutch slip on my Thunderace, I changed the friction plates and fitted stronger heavy duty springs. I done a complete oil change with filter and replaced the clutch hydraulic fluid, it seems to do it more twos up and when the oil is hot. Even drained the oil and changed oil brand I had the same problem, did the same, as in changing the clutch plates etc. Only really got rid of the problem when I reverted back to semi-synthetic old rather than fully synthetic Hope this helps.
