So I bought a dtr 125 1999 plate ( fort I would see what all the fuss was about )

I decicided change piston and rings and basically do a top end rebuild

Tis was because the nubnuts I bought off cheap I may add) openly admitted he add been using straight water rather then coolant (idiot)

Some how she still started and got me home 3/4 mile at very low speed

So I flushed the cooliant system or so I fort so out on the first run temperature gauge goes fruw the roof back to the work bench new top end rebuild gaskets piston rings the lot

On taking the barrel off gasket was perished and I fort was filling replaced them also did then piston and rings just to peace of mind.

So before stripping bike ran with temperature going fruw the roof

Now after top end rebuild it dose nt want to fire or when it do it is far and few between

Awesome spark tick

Fuel getting to plug tick

I understand it'll av low compression after rebuild but I ve tried fuel down the plug

Bump start

Please if any body as any tips suggestions or expert knowledge please write

I am bit of bike whizz done lots of strip down rebuilds ect ect but this has really caught me out :-(

Please help

As daft as it sounds try another plug, my old DTR completely refused to start once, nay it didnt even try to start. Fitted a new plug and away she went, put the old plug back and away she continued to go!!! some things you just cant explain ;)
