stonie Posted October 5, 2012 Posted October 5, 2012 Hi I'm Anthony and new to this forum so I thought I'd introduce myself and show you a bit of my biking history starting with my first bike the VFR400 Then after a few years a change to the Yamaha R6 but unfortunately a man in a van, couldn't wait to get home and wrote it off (he was late home that Day) So once I'd recovered and decided to get another bike I always wanted one of these, a Honda Fireblade So after 18months of riding the Fireblade I still wasn't happy with it and it had to go. And that's how I ended up with my current bike the yamaha R1 have to say I love it and happSo that's a little about me So that's a bit about me. I'm off to have a look around your site

Moderator Airhead Posted October 5, 2012 Moderator Posted October 5, 2012 Greetings Anthony your bikes are cracking machines even though they arent 2 strokes
stonie Posted October 5, 2012 Author Posted October 5, 2012 Thanks Airhead i did have 3 two strokes but 2 of them were scooters (no pictures) and the KR1s i had blew up and caught fire while on a track day at brands (didnt have it long enough to get a photo haha)
Moderator Airhead Posted October 5, 2012 Moderator Posted October 5, 2012 KR1's are fast little bikes and worth a fair bit of £££'s now eh?
stonie Posted October 5, 2012 Author Posted October 5, 2012 It was pretty fast, but it wasnt very reliable and after it caught fire it had to go
Moderator Airhead Posted October 5, 2012 Moderator Posted October 5, 2012 yeah I know what you mean, my DT175 is reliable...I can rely on it not going very fast ! That VFR looks good, they're a bit of an 'iconic' bike these days eh?
stonie Posted October 5, 2012 Author Posted October 5, 2012 The VFR was my first bike after i passed my test, and i rode that thing to its death bless it
Moderator Airhead Posted October 5, 2012 Moderator Posted October 5, 2012 You have a thing about killing bikes
