CorradosandYahas Posted October 3, 2012 Posted October 3, 2012 Does anyone have a manual for the DT175E? I would just like to know the factory carb settings particularly the main jet size, clip position, and air screw position. Also if your manual specifies I am at 5000' above sea level. Thanks -Dave
nayruf Posted October 3, 2012 Posted October 3, 2012 (edited) Hi at the end of some of the pdf's for some of the bikes are basic setting data sheets, there are some high altitude settings shown also they might be of some help, Edited October 3, 2012 by Cynic Sorry mate can't have links like that, orders from Alex.
Moderator Cynic Posted October 3, 2012 Moderator Posted October 3, 2012 Carb specs dt175 E, main 140 needle 4j13 3rd groove from top needle jet 0-2 pilot jet 22.5 pilot air screw 1and1/4 turns out starter jet 20 float height 21 idle speed 13-1400rpm As your the wrong side of the atlantic you may have a preset pilot jet screw. Not sure as to the effects of altitude on the DT's carberation. In my part of the world the only way i'll reach 5000' is in a plane.
CorradosandYahas Posted October 4, 2012 Author Posted October 4, 2012 You guys are the best! Like I thought the 140 is a little big for my elevation. Thanks again -Dave
