Posted September 30, 201212 yr Was considering upgrading my 125cc engine to a 250cc any advice on this? Would it fit into the 125cc engine frame? Would it need bigger carbs?
September 30, 201212 yr The XT 125 X is a 250 frame, thats why it has rear footpeges. I imagine you would have tyo do a spot of light modification, but I'm no expert. I have thought about swapping my XT engine, they aren't the fastest of 125's lol.
September 30, 201212 yr Moderator Thats got nowt to do woth the 250. My old 50 had pillion pegs. Thats not to say the 250 wont fit but you need to check carefully.
September 30, 201212 yr Someone on this forum told me that, when I was going to remove my rear footpegs.
October 1, 201212 yr Author Interesting gonna keep an eye out for 250 motors and the size of them more speed to the rear wheel always helps lol
