i just got a engine of someone who said it was a dt 125 to put in a dt 125 lc mk 1 frame , trouble is it doesnt look like a dt 125 lc engine as shown in the haynes manual ,the oil pump is on the top and water pum on the bottom ,so im wondering if this is off a later model if anyone has any ideas ,

the second problem is i went to check the numbers to see if i could find out the engine and guess what nonumber the plate where it should be the square on the top f the engine looks like it has been filed away there is only a short number on the left casing 3BN02 Y-1.

would i still be able to use this engine on a road bike?
