Starting to restore a 73CT3, my only main concern is that it does not shift into neutral. It will shift one up, and one down. I havent pulled the clutch cover off yet, that will be this weekend. This is my first restore, and im looking for a jumping off point. Any suggestions are much appreciated

Make sure the clutch is not dragging first mate .Push it back and too in gear with the clutch pulled in and try again to nurse it into neutral. The clutch on the ct is a bit of a weekpoint.Other than that the selector fork maybe worn but take care removing the clutch as they are hard to come by.
