any ideas? when i turn left my speedo goes blank, turn right it comes back, any help would be appreciated.

Lmao. You need to buy an aftermarket speedo. Speedo's on XT's are wank. It's a common design fault, eventually it will die altogether. I have a 2006 XT 125 X and have just bought a new speedo for £130 from eBay. The amount of posts I've seen inline line about XT speedos is a joke. Also you need to write an intro about yourself in the newbie section, otherwise no one will answer you. I took pity on you as I'm also an XT owner who had the same problem.
