Had to stop using my xj700 maxim to commute until i have time to look at it, everytime i stop at a junction or traffic lights it wets its self! Cant find the leak but petrol is running from the bottom of the carbs like a tap but stops when the engine is off. :/

Might be the carbs drain screw? or the float chamber gasket is shot.

Give the bottom of the carb bowls a sharp (not hard) tap with the end of a wodden screwdriver or hammer handle, probably just a stuck float. Remember DON'T belt it "TAP IT" :jossun:

It appears to be the connector the fuel line attaches to the carb, what a bummer man :(
