I drive a 2005 yzf600r, it has been running fine since February up until recently. a while ago it started bogging down at full throttle or anything over 60mph. I originally tried running sea foam but it didnt help. so I took the carbs apart and cleaned them and put in a K&N air filter, got everything back together, and it ran even worse. It idles fine, but had trouble picking up speed, seemed like it would catch some power for a second and jerk forward and then lose power again. barely went over 40mph. so since i put the new air filter in I found out i was supposed to rejet it because of more air flow. So I took it apart again and rejeted the carbs with a new dynojet kit. i put the kit in, adjusted the air/fuel mixture screw according to the instructions and got everything back together. Once I got it started I went to go for a test run and it ran the exact same (which i wasnt too happy about after the $100 jet investment) The tank looks fine, fuel lines look fine, I also changed the spark plugs and still no luck, still bogs down or has no power. Also seems like the RPM's don't go down as fast as they should when i release the throttle. I was thinking maybe the fuel pump? (i know some fuel pumps just either work or dont work, but some also work with just low fuel pressure, but i dont want to drop another $150 on that if i dont have to) or possibly a bad plug wire? I have researched the hell out of this for the past few weeks and have tried different things with no luck. Im getting desperate! Anyone ever have any kind of experience like this with there bike and fix it?
