dtr50 Posted August 25, 2012 Share Posted August 25, 2012 hi,i replaced the flywheel side casing on my bike,i did not take the gearbox apart,however on removal of the casing this dislogged the gearselector barrel/forks etc ,i reassembled these and appear to work before casing put back together,the spring and ball bearing are in place etc,i reassembled with gearbox in neutral,when fitted to bike could get 1st gear only,removed engine again ,reassembled with gearbox in 3rd,now cannot get first and the other gears are not right as it jumps out of gear very easy(sounds like its not quite in gear),note gearbox was fine before removing caseing,i swopped the caseing because original was cracked,has anyone had a similar experience and knows these gearboxes well,any pics ,manuals etc,,thanks Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
