Can anyone tell me if the xz clutch is the same as the fz 600 are the same I have seen picks of the 550 clutch and they look the same but conformation would be good? I still have the clutch slip prob with the fz and new parts are so expensive I tend to look for a good alternative first

The steel drive plates might be the same......but I'm not sure about the basket......splined hole in the center could be a different pattern ....assuming that the clutch dimensions are the same.

Seems a reasonable alternative, but you'd have to compare parts to be sure

the FZ600 has the same clutch plates etc as the 78 XS500 and 92-97 spec XJ600 not the XZ550
