hi everyone, i made a thread in the help section and someone suggested a make an intro thread here.

since i was little i've loved the look of classic japanese motorcycles

I recently started attempting to rebuild my dad's old 1966 yds he hasnt driven it since the 70s

to be honest, i have no experience working on bikes and right now my goal is to get it together and able to start; if i can get to that point i'll replace all the broken/missing/dilapidated parts and try to make it look nice.

i've lurked on this site quite a bit and it seems like a great resource of information as well as eyecandy

Hi Dmac. aboard. Sounds like you already know you've come to the right place. I'm sure the folks'll help you get the wiring sorted in no time. You could start a project thread too so I can be a voyeur.
