RLT Posted August 4, 2012 Share Posted August 4, 2012 Hi I recently changed the oil on my 2001 newly purchased TMAX500. I looked in the manual and filled it with almost 3 litres of oil as recommended in the manual. however, although I am happy there is the correct amount of oil in now, I cannot use the oil check window as it is marked so badly you cannot see anything through it at all. featherduster Posted August 12, 2012 Share Posted August 12, 2012 Hi There id say your looking at the wrong window I had the same problem . When the bike is on the main stand theres something that looks like a oil window (same shape) but the sight window is actually behind the side stand ( as in you can't see window unless side stand is down out of the way of glass.
