got a 2009 1300xvs midnite star went to go out on bike but wouldnt start turned key all lights came on press starter went through the motions but just wouldnt fire up can anybody help before i fork out a fortune to a garage cheers. ( before this was working a dream )

Hi there. A few things spring to mind

Check kill switch, bike in neutral, side stand up, the wires under the clutch lever are fully plugged in (small connector), battery fully charged, spark plugs clean.

Hopefully one of them will help?

as above, usually it somat really silly or obvious , you would be suprised how many people come to me wen their bike wontstart only for it to have run out of fuel lol

so check u have fuel, see if you have a spark, side stand switch is a common non starting problem
