Posted July 25, 201213 yr Well, I have just aquired (for the 3rd time!) a 1979 XS750SE. I first bought it in 1995 in original form, but hated the original mini ape type bars, so they were the first to go. It has been through a fair few images, but now looks like this: Well, it did when I last saw it! The plan is to make it into a cafe racer style ratter! It's most of the way there, and I really don't have the time or inclination to polish everything up to make a good cafe racer! But I will see how the mood takes me as I begin the project!
October 12, 201311 yr Nice change up I have the same bike slightly different, Do you know the jet changes that need to be made for the 3 into 1 header upgrade ? I have cut offs on the one I just picked up for $500 and I am doing a new rebuild , I like the bars you put on yours yeah the mini Apes are funky looking
