cable isn't broke,

needle moves when i spin it in my fingers ,

both ends are engaging when fitted (three times)

no movment when i whizz the front wheel round though?

so ? wot iz it. regards me.

Hi

With the cable connected at the drive end only, if you spin the wheel can you see the inner cable spin at the clock end,

If no then with the cable removed completely can you see the internal cable drive spin when the wheel is spun, if no then I would suspect the internal gears in the wheel are not working correctly perhaps a gear has stripped its teeth, only my guess, but I bet you have already tried this anyway
