Getting Spark & Not Getting Spark???

Hi, just bought XJ600 1991, replaced stater, new battery. Seem to be getting a spark sometimes when starting and not other times, just seems to turn over and all of a sudden will get a spark and other times not at all.

Does anyone have any advice or have / has had similar problem as I am racking my brains?!?!?

Hi David. Welcome to the YOC. Sorry I can't help you with the technical info, but a word of advice is to post an intro in the new member section. You're apt to get a better response from the "locals". :D
