Any suggestions for oil selection?

havew been used motul 5100 15w50 and yamalube 15w50.

Motul 5100 semi synthetic 10 / 40 `s is very good , i have used for 70 000 miles , just keep changing it and give her a new filter every now and then , the motor runs very hot which is normal ...

Have you heard that after using fully synthetic oil, returning to semi may cause leaks?

For the moment i have no leaks at all (65000km)

And DT125's will do 100mph..........

Someones excuse for a leaky motor. It can sometimes affect wet clutches although i have never had it happen to me.

If an engine has been run on cheap oil or been neglected the deturgents in the oil can clear carbon from ring groves for example causing smoke.

Had 2 engines do that to me running cars on the cheap using oil from my dads work(designed for trucks).
