Onida
Hi guys, I have a 1977 DT 175 MX and it has been running well up until this summer. I changed from using an oil tank to pre-mixing. I don't know if this is the cause of my problem or not. So when I started the bike it had no idle. Twisting the skrews made no difference. I took apart the carb and cleaned it without result unless fuel flowing out of the overflow and an idle of 6000-7000 rpm or no idle can be a result. Any help or insight appreciated. Regards, Onida

Moderator Cynic Posted June 29, 2012 Moderator Share Posted June 29, 2012 When changed over, (completely and utterly stupid idea if you ask me the pump is better in every way) did you blank off the pump system properly and increace the mixture (richen it) to allow for the oil in the fuel?
