Posted June 23, 201212 yr Got these from eBay for £20, what a bargain. I fitted them today and they're brilliant from stopping the cold and rain on my hands.
June 23, 201212 yr I have the same (I think) on my TTR. They're great, but they also seem to trap bees! I've had about 10 bees try (and fail) to fly through the slit in the top. I don't know why, but my handguards seem to attract bees.
June 23, 201212 yr Moderator I just sold some like that for £15.00...perhaps my buyer made a killing They look good on your bike

June 23, 201212 yr Is it your motorbike shop on eBay? YEH ITS HIS , thats him at the back ye bleak old shop of Stuff
June 24, 201212 yr Author YEH ITS HIS , thats him at the back ye bleak old shop of Stuff Well tell him I want a refund because they are broken!
June 25, 201212 yr Did yours come as standard or did you fit them? Mine didn't come as standard, although I didn't fit them They bend quite a lot though, which is good. They look like they'd survive many scrapes/drops, since they're not enclosed over the ends of the bars, like the stock ones are. Put simply, I thought they would be worth way more than £20!
June 25, 201212 yr Also, is your headlight unit an aftermarket one? I was looking at a similar (or identical?) one, wondering about the quality...
June 25, 201212 yr Author As far as I know my headlight is the original. You can pay a lot more for hand guards, the ones I bought are one of the cheapest available.
