Hi All,

Hope i am in the right spot for this question...

My 2002 1100 v-star with 12k ...just bought 2 weeks ago.. When stop and waitting at a red light...and getting reading to to go from nuetral..i shift to first and sometimes it seems like its in gear but its not...it takes a couple of attemps to get it in gear. I have put 600 mile on it and i keep thinking it me....It doesn't do it all the time..well let me know what you guys think

HI Chuck, welcome to the forum.

When you are at nuetral at traffic lights, try a little blip with the throttle, in other words rev up a little bit, then put it into first gear.

Adjust your clutch biting point.

Shift down through the gears as you slow down and be in 1st before you stop.
