Many many years ago I was the proud owner of a DT125R. Now my son has reached the ripe old age of 17 and has asked for a motor bike to get around. I have purchased a 1990 TZR 125 in need of some TLC so I will be on here alot asking for advice.

First question I would ask is am I mad?

Second question is do any of you know any good suppliers of quality second hand parts.

Welcome. I use wemoto for parts http://www.wemoto.com/bikes/yamaha/tzr_125/90-92/ they are competitively priced. I would suggest trying to get your lad to do his test before they chance the restrictions for young riders next jan, will save time and money in the long run
