Posted April 18, 200519 yr My mate said the best thing to do is to drain the oil and then fill it up with Gunk and let it stand overnight. Then flush it out with water in the morning. Is hot or cold water best?
April 18, 200519 yr Moderator best get that ultra thick gunk in gordon, that'll do the trick...ps dont forget the sawdust aswell mind, that'll soak all of the unwanted oil up good and proper
April 19, 200519 yr Moderator I hope thats a joke! as how the feck would you get the sawdust out ← nearly as bad as flush it out with water
April 19, 200519 yr Author The oil is out and the Gunk is in. Just leaving it in to soak overnight now. I've decided to put cold water in cos the hot water might damage the inside of the engine. It's an XJ600N.
April 19, 200519 yr Admin I wouldnt recommend putting water in at all, but surely hot is better than cold as it would evaporate out quicker Flush out with a flushing agent, and then fill with oil
April 20, 200519 yr i personally find that just replacing the oil right out with my own piss makes the bike run alot smoother...then again, i do still own a ho*da :S
April 20, 200519 yr I hope thats a joke! as how the feck would you get the sawdust out ← Easy, turn the bike upside down lol.

April 26, 200519 yr i cant remember exactly whether it was petrol or diesel but by all accounts you can flush it with that.... NOT FUCKING WATER YOU PRICK
