Convert Footboard to Footpegs on VStar 1100

I recently acquired a 2005 VStar 1100. I've owned many, many bikes in my long life but I have never had one with footboards. I am finding it cumbersome to operate the foot brake and gear shift with this footboard in the way and thought I would like to change to footpegs. Has anyone done this?

    Configure browser push notifications
