I have done the following but my DT will not start even when it has a spark

1-Split the engine into parts cleaned up up almost piece by piece

2-used new gaskets to put it back into place

3-replaced new piston and rings

4-field-coil cleaned up and dried ( i was moist and dirty)

5-replaced new ICM ( power pack) CDI

6-Cleaned all wire harnesses

7-New Plug

HI Francis why were you "moist and dirty"? Sorry mate could not resist, Ok you got a spark but do you have fuel, check your carb settings.

thorttle cable maybe? it may not be sitting correctly in the carbrettor try that
