hellonwheels Posted April 23, 2012 Share Posted April 23, 2012 hi there,ive finished my sr project at last,its come out pretty good,im having problems with the fueling,i have removed the air box and replaced it with a conical air filter(got it from wemoto for an earlier sr mine is 2000 reg) the carb has a 102 main jet as standard and i was told to increase this to a 120,it ran terrible on full throttle so i tried a 110 it was better but still wasnt right,it runs ok with the 102 jet,i have also modified the exhaust,there was a smaller diameter pipe inside the outer pipe which i have removed and i have fitted a universal slashcut muffler,could the exhaust be the problem for it not running at full throttle? i was hoping to get a bit more perfomance,have i gone to far with the exhaust!i will put a standard one back on if i have to but they look so bloody ugly,please help,its my first project and its gone pretty well other than this Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
