Posted April 16, 201212 yr Moderator Ended up driving the YamaHauler to Woodland on Saturday.....as I took a mate of mine who's never been to that track yet.....he's a BMX freak & loves MX in general.....needless to say......he loved it!! Again, the FrankenBike Hodaka was there.......went well too! A girl actually raced this old Beast..... GOT TO BE 1 of the Cleanest old KX's I've ever seen Evidence of the new class structure is starting to show..... Not necessarily "Vintage", but a slick bit-o-kit......Rotax powered......& built here in the states Sez it all ...... Those were the only still shots I took this time (for a change)...... Now for some real action..... Highlight of the day for us ThumpJunkies...... PE-armed XT500 w/ a sweet pipe...... Rider was GOOD......led his heat from the drop of the gate..... Spanked all the smokers in his heat & was the only bike to get air here ......... My mate & I are now going to try a joint-effort to bring my carcass CR250 project back to life.
