djb1972 Posted April 10, 2012 Posted April 10, 2012 hi Have a weak spark on all 4 could it be the regulator/rectifier. it was running fine then started to miss fire and stalled i bumped it and it ran for a few minuets then did the same again and now it wont fire up. Fitted a new battery but still the same. Cheers

Moderator drewpy Posted April 11, 2012 Moderator Posted April 11, 2012 With a fully charged new battery, the reg rectifier won't affect the sparks as its for charging purposes.
djb1972 Posted April 11, 2012 Author Posted April 11, 2012 Sorted the coil connections were loose so that sorted the spark then it was not getting fuel to the carbs. The plank i brought it from had fitted a fuel filter and used jubilee clips. he had them that tight he crushed the fuel line. All sorted now and back on the road
