hi i have just done the speedometer re-wire job on my dt 125 re 2005 and it works lovely pulling better, more power at high revs and a top speed of 80+. this is of course much better but it gets a bit thrashed when reaching 70.would / could i upgrade the spocket set to improve perfomance at top end speed?

ie: bigger front and rear sprocket set.

any thoughts/info would be much appreciated thanks

By putting a bigger rear sprocket on youll just be increasing acceleration, youd be better off with just a couple of teeth less on the back and leave the front.

That said the bike might struggle to get up to speed as it doesnt have loads of power in the first place.

thank you for your reply, i noticed that you can get 16-19 teeth front sprockets would a 19 tooth front sprocket be an easy way to fix my problem...?

okay if so then a 19 front will be too much, id say just try the rear one first.
