hi everyone im new to this site so unsure if im putting this in right area?

i have been looking online to common probs with the electric start on the ybr125 but have not had any success so hoping someone here would know what to do.

my electric start has not worked for several months now but 2 months ago it randomly started to work again for 2 days then stopped again and has not worked since.

would this be a connection problem, corrosion in the unit itself or just needs replacing?

before anyone mentions wobbling the key about while ignition on....it doesnt work tried lol.

if anyone could help id really appriciate it.

1st take off the control from the handle bars (should be just two screws) and check for corrosion and loose bits if nothing there then see if your folks have a volt meter and check to see if the power is going through from button to the starter motor etc.

If no joy there then id say replace the controls. if still no joy then start checking out the starter motor its self.
