Hi all, I am restoring a 1977 DT 175

I Was wondering if anyone has a right hand crankcase cover available for sale or know where I could get one, tried every wreckers in south australia with know luck.part number 437-15431-00 is discontinued

Has anyone welded theses covers with any luck, I am a good tig welder and can weld aluminium fine, but they are cast ali I think, I dont know what grade of rod to get, Any help would be appreciated.

I am removing the speed and taco from the handle bars, as it will only be used for offroad purposes, any ideas on what i can plug the hole in the cover up.

i've no idea if this would work but i am just trying to help, maybe try some exhaust repair putty?? it hardens as you apply heat
