gary9815
I was given a 1977ish Yamaha TY 175 in need of restoration. I was wondering a) is the bike worth anything now, and, how hard would it be form me to convert it into a flat track bike? (or at least a dirt bike)

Morpheuz
Had a look on ebays completed listings, and 2 went from 600 to 1,200 quid, might be worth a restore if the engine isnt slapping.
Moderator Airhead Posted February 4, 2012 Moderator Share Posted February 4, 2012 it would be best to have it as a functional trials bike if thats possible, thats where the value will be with people interested in twinshock trials events. Where are you Gary?
Paul Dawkins
I have one, the parts are worth good money but not an ideal project for a flat tracker. They are good for vintage twin shocks trials. Want to sell it?
