Bykemaster
I have just joined the Yamaha Club today because I have finally managed to get my hands on a Yamaha Royal Star Palomino. I have been looking for one of these bikes for years and finally persuaded an American gent to part with his machine. This limited edition version was built in 1997 and I believe only 85 were made. I would be interested to know if there are any other Palominos in UK. I should have the bike within 4 to 8 weeks and cannot wait to take delivery and become a proper member of the Club

Bykemaster
Hi folks, So excited about the imminent arrival of my new bike that I forgot to introduce myself properly to the forum. My name is John Fagan and I started biking when I was 57 years old. I live in South Lanarkshire and run a wee bike club called Freewheelers, check out our website at freewheelersmcc.com. I use Bykemaster as my contact name on the website. Our runs outs start in April and I plan the routes and the gang just tag along behind. I get dogs abuse if my Garmin happens to lead us astray but I am now good at bluffing that this was part of the planned route. As mentioned on my earlier post I am about to take possession of a 1997 Yamaha Royal Star Palomino which I am importing from USA and this will join my BMW R1200C cruiser in the bike shed. Sadly my Kawasaki VN900 will have to go to make space for the new boy. If anyone needs up to date info in importing a bike from USA, drop me a line and I will provide the details. I run a charity bike ride event in June, called Norlan where we try to raise cash for St Andrews Hospice in Airdrie. I have not decided on the date as yet but will post it when I bite the bullet. Its great to be on board.
