Snanson Posted January 6, 2012 Posted January 6, 2012 Hey guys, im not too sure if this has already been mentioned and/or resolved, i did search YBR125 Custom posts beforehand and didnt find anything so unless its hidden i guess not Anyway... I've recently been having a bit of a problem with either my clutch or gearbox (i know next to nothing about the technical side of bikes unfortunately so i cant pinpoint where it is). When i squeeze the clutch, change gear or accelerate i get a rattling sound, i cant think of what to compare the sound to but it sounds like a loose thin piece of metal knocking into whatever surrounds it, it only happens briefly on acceleration, giving the impression that its locked into place, or held tighter when im at higher revs. When it first started i thought nothing of it as i was approaching a service anyway and figured they would identify and fix it but over time its been getting worse and worse. If anyone has any ideas at all about what it is i would greatly appreciate the info i havent actually had the upcoming service yet, just to remove any ideas of possible slacking mechanics Apologies for my incredibly lacking knowledge of what may be common sense to some of you. Ill get there eventually Thanks
