PaulSmith
Hello, Im new to biking and this website and I'm having a few problems with my recently purchase 2009 XT125R. It always had problems starting by electric start and sometimes needed kicking over. However the battery will not charge and is permanently dead, I get the dash and lights when the engine is running, but occasionally I do loose it for a few milliseconds. I have used a voltmeter and the battery is around 10v when the engine is not running and struggling to push 12v when running. when I rev I don't seem to get any more voltage so believe its not charging at all. I have recently changed the front bulb to halogen bulb as the standard one is not capable of seeing anything without street lights, im not sure if this is having an effect, however it was always a problem before I changed this. help..........please Thanks
