Could anyone tell me the name ov the "Itzzy-bitzzy-teeney-weeney- little-rubber-grommet-thingy" that the wires from the stator/generator go through as they emerge from the engine casing........

Im lookin for a replacement as the one the one on Georges has seen better days (about 20 years ago!!!)

errr....grommet!

its got no special name.

I assume you're referring to the grommet on the cable number 14

as you can see it was never sold separately in the parts book, it came with the cable.

If you're looking for identical ,due to the shape, then ebay is your likeliest supplier or perhaps the donor bike

or get a bit of rubber and drill/shape it

theres someone on the RD forum selling magneto grommets (today) seanna, pop over and check it out

That stands for Itsy-Bitsy-Teeny-Weeny- Little-Rubber-Grommet-Thingy.

Make sure you spell it right, or you'' end up ordering the wrong part. Part suppliers, OEM and AM, are very fussy about such things...
