Posted February 17, 200520 yr hi only me second post so pls be gentle...lol right... 1998 black thundercat. ive looked under the seat and im wodering what should be there????? i have the small tool kit the U lock is missing so im looking for 1 (any help appriciated) but there is 1 oblong shaped space left which must hold somthing but what???? all help appriciated chip
February 17, 200520 yr Hello I am also a Happy thundercat owner! Like you say the U-lock goes in one bit and the oblong bit is where the lock part of the u-lock goes! I also don't have a U-lock but on my front hugger it looks like someone has tried to move the bike with one on and cracked the front hugger, the same thing has happened with my brothers! I store a chain in there now.
February 18, 200520 yr Author yes i also have a front gard that is cracked from maybe a disc lock or simular. paulyzf600r.... does a full size chain fit under the seat easily????
February 19, 200520 yr Not easily but it fits just got to make sure you can get it under the points where the seat click into. Mind thats with out the u-lock in but I do have the tool kit in as well as the chain and lock.
