Its been bugging me for a while now and hopefully this will get it sorted.

My question is, does exhaust packing (the fiber glass stuff in the tail can) make any difference to performance, is it best to have it in or not and would an upjet or something be required if removed, or is it just purely a noise reducer?

Hi tzr" i"v used the fibre glass type wadding, no perfomance gains.. it justs take the crack off expansion pipes,, without it , its sharp on the ears...
