thinking about fitting these forks to my xvs , click pics to enlarge

not sure if i should though the forks have twin caliper brakes at the moment my insurance is 3pft but if i upgrade to fully comp will this put the isurance up alot as the bike with have a bigger than standard brake

will the taper bearing be the same size as the standard xvs items

I can't imagine the insurance going up, since this means you stop *better*!

Not sure on the taper thing, though. I'd have to measure it.

personally i dont think i'd even tell the insurance company

the forks are now on

the upper bearing was the same diameter an tapped staight in the lower was slightly bigger there was a slight lip inside the frame that stopped the old cup going in too far this had to be die grinded ( not much maybe 1/4 of millimetre)

i also had to get the thread extended on steerer tube
