Hi I have recently purchased a yamaha ybr 125 2006 which has the square headlight with faring. The headlight beam is on the high side and full beam seems above the road. Does anyone know how to adjust the beam down on this model as there is nothing that covers this headlight in the haynes manual

Hi Livsey, on my XJ the Chrome surround has 2 philips screws that serve as retainers and adjusters, before adjusting them I would suggest that you whip the headlight off and oil and clean the screw threads as they are usually covered in crud and rust, other than that it's quite easy to get the lights set up.

P.S. Sorry should have also said that there are 2 screws underneath the cowling that actually hold the headlamp surround in place, up underneath the lower trim
