Pete the pipe Posted October 26, 2011 Share Posted October 26, 2011 Hi folks just wondering if any one has ever used a pattern gasket set for a fzr/yzf . Or is it best to use genuine yam . Have been quoted over £300 for genuine but only £100 for pattern ? . My heart tells me to buy genuine, but the csa say buy pattern and send them the difference ??. What you want to do is find out who makes the gaskets and buy them without the Yam moniker and mark up! if you go with aftermarket, get a good make. Athena springs to mind, never heard of one fail!
