RubySR
Hi all, Went to start my SR125 this morning and no electricals , no neutral light, headlights etc. I then noticed that I'd left the light switch on since last use (14 hours). When I turn the engine off the lights turn off automatically, but would the light switch being left on have caused the battery to drain?
NEV
No Ruby it wouldn't, although an alarm or an immobiliser would, do you have one on the bike? if not, it sounds like the fault is your battery, or the magneto not charging the battery back up, take the battery off and charge it fully and see if its keeping its charge. YPVS TONE
I seem to remember they were 12V as they only had electric start.

RubySR
It's a 12v, turns out that the battery wasn't secured in it's tray and the connection had loosened. Always happy when a problem costs nothing to replace
