Hi i no keeping a bike going is harder but our bike wont switch off stop switch wont work and the key wont switch off eather we stall it, the problem is any one can just bumpstart it and away they go, any ideas were to look for problem all the wires are on the egnition switch thanks

Hello i am new to the forum but i know from a mechanic friend of mine that if you have somehow got parrafin in the fuel it can cause it to keep running he has had a few peugeot cars in where people have put it in to try and save money and the enginge keeps running even when the ignition is switched off. It also happens when people use parrifin washers to clean parts or when used when a engine has seized and they fill the crank case full of the stuff. And dont make the same mistake i have just made and overfill the oil and it then blows out the airbox and drips out if not it could be the engine is coked up with gunk and carbon hope this might help adam
