HI can anyone please help me, my son has just got a TZR50 and he has got fuel leaking from the overflow on the carb, also when he took the tank off there were 2 pipes one goes to the feed for the carb but cant see if the other needs to go anywhere ? are there any workshop manuals for this bike? sorry to sound vague but i dont have a clue about bikes. kelly

Greetings kelzi

no doubt the bike has a vacuum operated fuel tap, the 2nd pipe (vacuum) will plug onto a spigot somewhere on the engine side of the carb throttle valve (slide), thus when the engine is running...vacuum is created and this in turn opens the fuel flow to the carb. as for the overflowing perhaps the carburettor float valve has jammed, initially try tapping the carb with the wooden stock of a hammer...I said 'tapping' ;)

Hi he has connected both pipes from the tank now, but we still have fuel pouring out of the carb overflow. It isnt the float as that has been checked and weve tryed tapping it. Any other ideas please? kelly.
