Posted October 1, 201113 yr Hi, I am rebuilding a 78 dt..I have three front wheels and when i fit them they are all off center, ie the distance from rim to the fork is bigger on the brake side! Surely the wheel should be in the middle of the forks, can anyone confirm this. Thanks Pete.
October 1, 201113 yr Moderator yes in the centre Pete, you may find some flats on the insisde of the forklegs, use calipers to measure to the rim edge.. you would be best measuring the offset of each wheel though first
