Posted October 1, 201113 yr my, xj400 is just wheering when i try to start it after it has not been used for maybe 3 days.what should i do to remedy this prob.? What do you think is the problem? Please help..comments are welcome...
October 1, 201113 yr Moderator wheering? seriously, could just need the battery charging or it doesn't hold enough amps. if not that, the starter clutch is worn and the rollers need replacing.
October 4, 201113 yr Author by wheering, i wanted to convey the sound of the engine attempting to start when i press the engine start, but it just sounds like that but doesn't start at all..starting the engine is really my big problem, but once it starts i had no problem when the bike is running. thank you anyway..i'll try a new battery.
